The Delhi Chapter of the Harvard Kennedy School Women's Network (HKSWN) invites you to kick-off the new year 2019 with a relaxing potluck picnic at the Lodhi Gardens on January 5, 2018.
While most of our chapter meets through the year serve as exclusive safe spaces for women members, we would like to use this picnic as a platform to celebrate our families and friends, who form an integral part of the lives of women and their daily struggles. Hence, this event is open to all members as well as their families/+1s/friends.
The event starts with an optional paid tour (of either the Lodhi Garden Art Circuit or the diverse flora at Lodhi Gardens - details are still being finalised). The *walking tour will last for one hour from 10 am - 11 am and will require a contribution of Rs 300 per head *(to be paid in cash or PayTM/UPI at the venue). If you are interested in the optional walking tour, kindly fill this quick form <https://goo.gl/F84Qwq> and details will be intimated to you.
We will meet for the picnic at the Ashoka Gate of Lodhi Gardens at 11:00 am. Few snacks will be provided but the picnic is a potluck, so attendees are requested to bring along a food or beverage item. We will try and keep the picnic as environmentally sustainable as possible, so if convenient, please also carry a plate, mug and cutlery for yourself. We will make merry and have heartfelt conversations as we share food.
